Currently 283 plus physicians of the PCMS represent all medical specialties and are on staff at local hospitals and in group and solo practices throughout Pueblo County
Home of the "Home of Heros" National Congressional Medal of Honor Museum, Pueblo has had the most Medal of Honor winners of any city in the U.S. and was host to the 2000 meeting of surviving Medal of Honor winners. Pueblo County Medial Society has had distinguished members who served as President of the Colorado Medical Society:
PCMS has one member physician who sits on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Medical Society, one who sits as Alternate-Delegate to the AMA and 10 members who serve as Delegates to the CMS House of Delegates. Pueblo County is the location of the Pueblo Reservoir, the largest lake and
water recreation area in the state. It is part of the Frying-Pan Arkansas Project
built by the U.S. Corps of Engineers. The photo shown is of our new HARP (Historic
